Friday Philosophy…Scandals

They’re salacious, they’re steamy, and they make for amazing plot twists – whether in real life or on the page. This post has been inspired by the program, “Scandal.”

There are little scandals everyday. Big ones, too. If you follow politics, of course you’ve seen scandals – I don’t really consider those scandals, it’s more a bunch of undisciplined, spoiled brats behaving badly. (There you have it, why I do not talk politics in public.)

“Love and scandal are the best sweeteners of tea.” ~ Henry Fielding

“A lie has no leg, but a scandal has wings.” ~ Thomas Fuller

“Scandal is gossip is made tedious by morality.” ~ Oscar Wilde

โ€œWhen a tree falls it resounds with a thundering crash; and yet a whole forest grows in silence.โ€ ~ Jocelyn Murray

“You find out who your real friends are when you’re involved in a scandal.” ~ Elizabeth Taylor

Blessings to you all. Never give up – even if you’re in the midst of a scandal. ๐Ÿ˜‰
