No, not the grit that we work to clean up after a dust storm. The grit that makes up an indomitable spirit is what I’m thinking of here. Mind you, said grit had ditched me entirely yesterday, as I hit the hay without a blog, in favor of much-needed sleep. 🙂
So, thoughts on grit (or spine, as I like to think of it).
“Over time, grit is what separates fruitful lives from aimlessness.” ~ John Ortberg
“Above everything else I’ve done, I’ve always said I’ve had more guts than I’ve got talent.” ~ Dolly Parton
“Grit is living life like it’s a marathon, not a sprint.” ~ Dr. Angela Lee Duckworth
“No grit, no pearl.” ~ Unknown
“We will either find a way, or make one.” ~ Hannibal
If that’s not a great one to use at the close, then I don’t know what is.
Blessings to you all… Kalo Mina, as the Greek says.
