It’s been a while since I’ve indulged in quotable quotes on a Friday. 🙂
I’ve been thinking lately of how much easier life feels when you “play it safe” and stay in your familiar bubble. Of course, the thrill and growth and shifting perspectives come when you challenge yourself to move outside of that zone. So, some thoughts from others on risk:
“The greatest risk is really to take no risk at all. You’ve got to go out there, jump off the cliff, and take chances.” ~ Patrick Warburton
“Daring to set boundaries is about having the courage to love ourselves, even when we risk disappointing others.” ~ Brene Brown
“Trust your own instinct. The mistakes you make might as well be your own, instead of someone else’s.” ~ Billy Wilder
“What great thing would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?” ~ Robert Schuller
“A ship is safe in harbor, but that’s not what ships are for.” ~ John A. Shedd
“Failure is a bend in the road, not the end of the road. Learn from failure and keep moving forward.” ~ Roy T. Bennett
Happy Friday, and blessings to you all.
