Not too terribly long ago, I shared my favorite quote from author Anne Lamott. Today, I would like to share more quotes from this incredible writer.

“Lighthouses don’t go running all over an island looking for boats to save; they just stand there shining.”

“Forgiveness is giving up all hope of having had a better past.”

“No” is a complete sentence.”

“Laughter is carbonated holiness.”

“The road to enlightenment is long and difficult, and you should try not to forget snacks and magazines.”

“We begin to find and become ourselves when we notice how we are already found, already truly, entirely, wildly, messily, marvelously who we were born to be.”

Anne Lamott is my go-to (Okay, one of them, the best one!) when life is handing out a butt-kicking and I start to wonder how I’m supposed to withstand it, overcome it…

Blessings to you all.
