I’ve been thinking about peace a great deal this week: in the individual sense, not the global one. I tend to believe that what we accomplish on the individual level then ripples outward, through our families and workplaces and communities. It seems to me that there is always a very valid disruption to our sense of peace.
The world is filled with people. Some of them are bound to annoy us once in a while. 🙂
So, today I thought I would share some thoughts on peace.
“You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life, but by realizing who you are at the deepest level.” ~ Eckhart Tolle
“Nothing can bring you peace but yourself.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
“We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves.” ~ Dalaï Lama
“I can have peace of mind only when I forgive, rather than judge.” ~ Gerald Jampolsky
Wishing you peace and blessings on this Friday!
