Anxiety is burdensome. For me, anxiety likes to start mental conversations between 1:00 am and 3:00 am. Then, of course, I spend the day feeling like I am behind the 8 ball: exhausted and anxious at one time.
So, thoughts for today on anxiety:
“You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it.” ~ Margaret Thatcher
“There are moments when all anxiety and stated toil are becalmed in the infinite leisure and repose of nature.” ~ Henry David Thoreau
“Anxiety is the handmaiden of creativity.” ~ T.S. Eliot
“He who fears he will suffer, already suffers from his fear.” ~ Michel de Montaigne
“Anxiety is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but you don’t get very far.” ~ Jodi Picoult
“Smile, breathe, and go slowly.” ~ Thich Nhat Hanh
On that note, happy Friday blessings to you all!
