I think it is safe to say that this past year has felt like free climbing some enormous cliffs for a lot of us. All around the world, people have been grieving, or sick, or in dire financial straits. Further, they have had to juggle isolation, sudden homeschooling, endless days at home.

Hope springs eternal – for me, at least – and I feel as though we might be coming towards the actual management of Covid-19. It seems there might be an end in sight.

With that, I thought I would share a few quotes on getting past those obstacles, climbing those cliffs. These are some quotes that give me motivation, or comfort.

“Your fate has not been written until you pick up a pen.” – Dean Bokhari

“You’ll never find a better sparring partner than adversity.” – Golda Meir

“If you are faced with a mountain, you have several options. You can climb it and cross to the other side. You can go around it. You can dig under it. You can fly over it. You can blow it up. You can ignore it and pretend it’s not there. You can turn around and go back the way you came. Or you can stay on the mountain and make it your home.” – Vera Nazarian

“You can’t calm the storm, so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself. The storm will pass.” – Timber Hawkeye

I hope you are all staying healthy, and staying safe.

Blessings to you all…
