So hot and humid this week. I was felled (yes, like a tree) yesterday by a migraine. I am forced to conclude it was heat induced. There’s nothing else that could have triggered it. I am already contemplating moving to a cooler climate, and it is only July. Usually, I manage to make it halfway through August before I consider making drastic moves to polar ice caps. Sigh…
So, Friday Philosophy will be entirely subject to the overwhelming heat here. Enjoy!
“Heat cannot be separated from fire, or beauty from The Eternal.” ~ Dante Alighieri (Meaning we are in the fire here. Help!)
“Just for the record, the weather today is calm and sunny, but the air is full of bull****.” ~ Chuck Palahniuk
Of course, I have to include my favorite “season” quote:
“It was in the depths of winter that I discovered within me there lay an invincible summer.” ~ Albert Camus (just had to put a positive spin on summer)
“August, the summer’s last messenger of misery, is a hollow actor.” ~ Henry Rollins
There, I threw a little foreshadowing in there at the end. 🙂
I hope you all stay blissfully cool today!
Blessings, and NEVER GIVE UP!
