It’s the big, bad boogeyman hiding under the bed for many of us. Failure. If I write that book/speak that truth/take the plunge (of any kind), what happens if I fail?
The response to failure is something we all share, and yet it’s something very isolating. It can feel as though no one on Earth can possibly understand or empathize with the situation.
So, my Friday on a Saturday Philosophy shares some thoughts on failure.
“Failures, repeated failures, are finger posts on the road to achievement. One fails forward towards success.” ~ C.S. Lewis
“Remember that failure is an event, not a person.” ~ Zig Ziglar
“If you’re not prepared to be wrong, you’ll never come up with anything original.” ~ Ken Robinson
“All my successes have been built on my failures.” ~ Benjamin Disraeli
“The soul should always stand ajar, ready to welcome ecstatic experience.” ~ Emily Dickinson
Failure is not failure, unless you allow it to stop you.
Blessings to you all, and never give up.
