Tuesday Thoughts…Written by a Maniac.

So, I’ve entered the National Novel Writing Month contest (NaNoWriMo). It began November 1st, and I began writing my novel on my super doper brand new computer. Best birthday present ever! I set a goal to write at least 2000 words per day, to make the 50,000 word goal for the month. I just completely rearranged everything I had written so far, because it all clicked together while I was running this morning. Never underestimate the power of hard exercise to make all of your ducks line up beautifully. 🙂

Some thoughts for the day, from crazy busy me:

“I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.” ~ Douglas Adams

“Character gives us qualities, but it is in actions – what we do – that we are happy or the reverse….All human happiness and misery take the form of action.” ~ Aristotle

“I try to create sympathy for my characters, then turn the monsters loose.” ~ Stephen King

“If you can tell stories, create characters, devise incidents, and have sincerity and passion, it doesn’t matter a damn how you write.” ~ Somerset Maugham

Happy Tuesday, and blessings to you all!
