Later than Friday Philosophy…Truth

The truth is a harsh master sometimes. As people, we seem to filter our experiences to make them more acceptable to others. We don’t want to be disliked, we don’t want random people (or not so random people) going through daily life and wishing us ill.

But, what is the cost?

Speak your truth, even if no one will agree. Speak your truth, even if it makes waves.

“Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.” ~ Buddha

“It’s no wonder that truth is stranger than fiction. Fiction has to make sense.” ~ Mark Twain

“Don’t bend; don’t water it down; don’t try to make it logical; don’t edit your own soul according to the fashion. Rather, follow your most intense obsessions mercilessly.” ~ Franz Kafka

“In a room where people unanimously maintain a conspiracy of silence, one word of truth sounds like a pistol shot.” ~ Czesław Miłosz

Blessings to you all, and NEVER GIVE UP!
