I realized that I’m running out of time until Halloween. I have to maintain this spooky topic line in order to cover the many monsters out there. 😉
Today, it’s werewolves. I’ll admit, werewolves weren’t really one of the “monsters” that caught my attention. It seemed more tragic than frightening, but, who knows?
“Some people will tell you werewolves can only shapechange under a full moon, but people also say there’s no such thing as ghosts.” ~ Patricia Briggs
“We should never try to deny the beast – the animal within us.” ~ “The Howling”
“Werewolves are much more common animals than you might think.” ~ Daniel Pinkwater
“He speaks for the Werewolf in us; the bully, the predatory shyster who turns into something unspeakable, full of claws and bleeding string-warts on nights when the moon comes too close…” ~ Hunter S. Thompson (okay, this quote was about Richard Nixon – but I think that’s what makes horror fiction.)
Spooky Tuesday, and blessings…
