Friday Philosophy – Waiting

If it’s really early on Saturday morning, I can still count this as part of Friday, right? 😉

For those of you who read my #MondayBlogs post, you know that this is the week of waiting for me.

“Waiting is painful. Forgetting is painful. But not knowing which to do is the worst kind of suffering.” ~ Paulo Coelho

“Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.” ~ Terry Pratchett

“Time feels slower when we do nothing but wait.” ~ Toba Beta (hence the huge amount of work and activity I’ve packed into this week!)

“You can get so confused/that you’ll start in to race/down long wiggled roads at a break-necking pace/and grind on for miles across weirdish wild space,/headed, I fear, toward a most useless place./The Waiting Place…” ~ Dr. Seuss

Blessings, and never give up! Off we go to volunteer this morning, before the high heat of desert August kicks in. xo
