Friday Philosophy…Training

Since I did a nice, gnarly workout this morning (thank you, Vern!), I figured some quotes on training for various physical accomplishments would be a good choice today. Especially for me: I can re-read these tomorrow morning, when my entire core is screaming at me. 🙂

“Age is no barrier. It is a limitation you put on your mind.” ~ Jackie Joyner-Kersee

“You can’t put a limit on anything. The more you dream, the farther you get.” ~ Michael Phelps

“Champions keep playing until they get it right.” ~ Billie Jean King

“You only ever grow as a human being if you’re outside your comfort zone.” ~ Percy Cerutty

“Only he who can see the invisible can do the impossible.” ~ Frank L. Gaines

“If you want to find the real competition, just look in the mirror. After awhile you’ll see your rivals scrambling for second place.” ~ Criss Jami

At the end of the day, it may have been the best day of all time, or a mucky and messy disaster. No matter which you experience, you think about it, clear it out, sleep and begin again: clean slate, brand new, every single day.

And you never give up. No matter what. One more mile, one more squat (ouch), you just keep going. And transformation is yours. 🙂

Blessings to you all!
