Friday Philosophy…Training

Since I did a nice, gnarly workout this morning (thank you, Vern!), I figured some quotes on training for various physical accomplishments would be a good choice today. Especially for me: I can re-read these tomorrow morning, when my entire core is screaming at me. πŸ™‚

“Age is no barrier. It is a limitation you put on your mind.” ~ Jackie Joyner-Kersee

“You can’t put a limit on anything. The more you dream, the farther you get.” ~ Michael Phelps

“Champions keep playing until they get it right.” ~ Billie Jean King

“You only ever grow as a human being if you’re outside your comfort zone.” ~ Percy Cerutty

“Only he who can see the invisible can do the impossible.” ~ Frank L. Gaines

“If you want to find the real competition, just look in the mirror. After awhile you’ll see your rivals scrambling for second place.” ~ Criss Jami

At the end of the day, it may have been the best day of all time, or a mucky and messy disaster. No matter which you experience, you think about it, clear it out, sleep and begin again: clean slate, brand new, every single day.

And you never give up. No matter what. One more mile, one more squat (ouch), you just keep going. And transformation is yours. πŸ™‚

Blessings to you all!
