Rocky Beaches
Sometimes our toes do not find
the smooth white sands
waiting along the shore
sometimes we must become like mountain goats
picking our way across rocky beaches
and though our feet grow tough with the pain
though the journey is not what we had hoped
still the beauty is there to be found
