My dad came up with the title of this post. I don’t think he intended to, but he threw that descriptor of our work here out in the midst of a conversation, so I am stealing it. 🙂
The first stage of kitchen updating was the hideous, overhead, fluorescent lighting:
On Wednesday evening, an electrician and a contractor zipped in to rip out that eyesore, and install pot lights:
I now have a much brighter, and prettier, set of lights. The kitchen actually feels a bit bigger, now that nothing is suspended from the ceiling:
Today, the drywall is being patched and retextured for the lighting to be completed. Monday begins the true mayhem. I can’t wait!
Blessings to you all!
