Friday Philosophy…Cold Hands!

I live in the California desert. As a general rule (compared to all of my relatives in Canada), it DOES NOT really get cold here. Nonetheless, I am writing this post hunched up in bed, wearing flannel jammies and a fleece hoodie and wondering why I didn’t buy myself a pair of those gloves that don’t have fingertips… My blood has thinned way too much. I think it must be nearly time for a trip to Alberta. In the winter. Brrrrr.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday, filled with love and joy. 🙂

Some quotes for today:

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” ~ Harriet Tubman

“I know what I have to do, and I’m going to do whatever it takes. If I do it, I’ll come out a winner and it doesn’t matter what anyone else does.” ~ Florence Griffith Joyner

“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.” ~ T.S. Eliot

“One of the secrets of life is to make stepping stones out of stumbling blocks.” ~ Jack Penn

Blessings to you all, and never give up!
