I’ve been running around all day. At the start of it, my son couldn’t find a book for school and my daughter remembered her PE uniform only when I was dropping her off. Fortunately, I great deal of what I had on the agenda today involved being on the phone, so I managed to multitask. 🙂
I took Fuzzy for a hike today, and she LOVED it! It was really fun for us both. I feel like a better pet parent today.
Here are some thoughts for the day – since it’s seems everything is all about the weather in the world (and in the twitterverse) I thought I’d follow suit:
“You can’t get too much winter in the winter.” ~ Robert Frost
“People don’t notice whether it’s winter or summer when they’re happy.” ~ Anton Checkhov
“In seed time learn, in harvest teach, in winter enjoy.” ~ William Blake
“Sometimes our fate resembles a fruit tree in winter. Who would think that those branches would turn green again and blossom, but we hope it, we know it.” ~
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
I know my family and friends in Canada (and Wisconsin and Ohio!) are getting hammered by the cold right now. I have to admit, though, that Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons of the year. At least, living in the California desert, they are.
Stay warm, and blessings to you all…
