You know, I barely slept last night. At midnight, my mind cleared enough to realize that I hadn’t posted my blog. I was so sleepy, I just didn’t have the heart to grab my laptop and go for it.
So, here we are, on Wednesday afternoon, with my thought pattern of yesterday. I was thinking about vulnerability. Of course, I had to read up on what others have written about the topic. 🙂
“Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity, and change.” ~ Brene Brown (Every time I have the opportunity to listen to her, I feel so inspired and empowered!)
“Vulnerability is the only authentic state. Being vulnerable means being open, for wounding, but also for pleasure. Being open to the wounds of life means also being open to the bounty and the beauty. Do not mask or deny your vulnerability: it is your greatest asset.” ~ Stephen Russell
“A person is, among all else, a material thing, easily torn and not easily mended.” ~ Ian McEwan
“My music is about being strong, even in your vulnerability.” ~ Miranda Lambert
Blessings to you all… Take care of each other!
