We are moving into what’s supposed to be a stormy weekend.
At this point, it isn’t just California’s drought: I’m desperate for weather. It’s been getting breezy, and I can smell the creosote – that tart smell on the air that comes before rain. I keep hoping for a good old-fashioned thunderstorm, like we had when I was growing up. I would settle for an extension of winter, and a good soaker for my vegetables and herbs.
I’m thankful that tomorrow will bring some time out of doors, in my garden. I feel like nesting again. 🙂

Blessings and gratitude to you all…
