Friday Philosophy…Audacity

This concept is fun. If you look up the definition, you get a strange pairing of meanings. On the one hand, audacity is the willingness to be bold, to take risks. On the other hand, it’s rude and disrespectful behavior.

Perhaps it is impossible to be bold and brave without offending someone.

“Every great advance in science has issued from a new audacity of imagination.” ~ John Dewey

“Success is the child of audacity.” ~ Benjamin Disraeli

“God himself helps those who dare.” ~ Ovid

“Do not be afraid of that which should be afraid of you.” ~ Constance Friday

“Mistakes we commit through audacity are easily corrected with more audacity.” ~ Paulo Coelho

“Capacity, audacity, and tenacity will take you to your mountaintop.” ~ Robin Sharma

On that last note, a happy Friday and holiday weekend to you all. Blessings!
