Tuesday Thoughts…Thoughtfully!

Now that I have settled into my fitness routine again, it’s about time to make an adjustment: tomorrow marks the start of summer break for Maddie and Moses. Today, Maddie didn’t have school, so I dragged her off to the public pool to swim a mile with me. 🙂 She’s just a wee bit tired tonight. So, as of next week, the routine will remain sort of the same, just with the kiddos joining in.

I’m honestly looking forward to it. Both of them are very active and enjoy being outdoors with me. Of course, it’s already hit 114 degrees here this week, so we will have to make sure we are doing our outdoor activities by six in the morning. (The kids are going to hate me haha.)

Our Tuesday Thoughts this week are scattered. I’ve had a great deal of physical focus, but more of a stream-of-consciousness thing going on upstairs. I’m sure you are all shocked by that little tidbit.

“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.” ~ Khalil Gibran

“It’s not the tragedies that kill us; it’s the messes.” ~ Dorothy Parker

“Everything one invents is true, you may be perfectly sure of that. Poetry is as precise as geometry.” ~ Gustave Flaubert

“This is freedom. This is the force of faith. Nobody gets what they want. Never again are you the same. The longing is to be pure. What you get is to be changed.” ~ Jorie Graham

Blessings to you all…
