Friday Philosophy Weekend Edition…

A week of hard, but rewarding, work is now behind me. Maddie and Moses also started swim team this week, so I am in schedule shock. It doesn’t take much. That being said, I did still manage my workouts (including a five mile run and my one mile swim) and work, so it was definitely a win.

The news has been all over the place this week. Miami won. North West was born. (Don’t even get me going on that one.) The Jodi Arias movie is on TV already.

So, with that in mind, here are some deep thoughts to carry with you. 🙂

“To be a poet is a condition, not a profession.” ~ Robert Frost

“I’ve been absolutely terrified every moment of my life and I’ve never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do.” ~ Georgia O’Keefe

“Don’t bend; don’t water it down; don’t try to make it logical; don’t edit your own soul according to the fashion. Rather, follow your most intense obsessions mercilessly.” ~ Franz Kafka

“Everyone has talent. What’s rare is the courage to follow it to the dark places where it leads.” ~ Erica Jong

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” ~ Henry David Thoreau

Blessings to you all, and remember, always: Never Give Up!
