Today was my antigen test/bloodwork day. I had some extra tests today, so my awesome phlebotomist drained my blood more than even a vampire would have.
Soooooo, I’ll go back to my oncologist next Tuesday to get my results. And, true to form, my neurotic mind is asking, “what if your antigens went up? What if your cancer came back?” And on and on and on, blah de blah… On that note, some quotes to get you through your Tuesday! 😉
“Your body hears everything your mind says.” ~ Naomi Judd (alright, alright, I’ll quit panicking!)
“Every human being is the author of his own health or disease.” ~ Buddha (I know what story I am writing – remission and survival.)
“Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.” ~ George Carlin, in “How To Stay Young” (If I can squeeze a George Carlin quote into this blog, I’m content.)
“Stop judging. Celebrate everything. Yes, even your disease. It is your blessing.” ~ Richard Schulze
My disease is my blessing. My failure bring me to my successes. My pain is a sign of growth.
And so it is, for all of us.
Blessings to you all…
