After a great deal of thought, I’ve decided to re-certify as a personal trainer. So, today, after I finished my traditional work, I started re-reading my course materials and taking my online quizzes to see if I still remember anything. Haha! Happily enough, that information’s retention was NOT damaged by chemotherapy. Thank goodness!
Today’s thoughts and quotes are going to end up in that fitness/wellness/strength category, since I’m immersed in it. 😉
“Swimming is normal for me. I’m relaxed. I’m comfortable, and I know my surroundings. It’s my home.” ~ Michael Phelps
(I also find swimming to be meditative, but that might just be me.)
“You cannot propel yourself forward by patting yourself on the back.” ~ Steve Prefontaine
“I have my own unique road that has had many exciting ups and heart-breaking downs, but one thing I know is that my journey is not over and the best is yet to come.” ~ Ryan Hall
“I have to exercise in the morning before my brain figures out what I’m doing.” ~ Marsha Doble
“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.” ~ Helen Keller
Happy Tuesday, and blessings to you all!
