A New Day, A New Year…

Last year, just a few days into the year, I read many blogs in which writers were committing to posting a blog per day. I thought that was a great idea. I didn’t do it.

Welcome to 2014, and the year of one blog post per day!

I’m on the band wagon now, and feeling organized about it all.

I’m hoping you all had a fantastic New Year’s Eve celebration: we had a “matriarchal” style set up, in which Moses was the only male in the room. We rang in the New York New Year – because, let’s face it, I am highly unlikely to stay up until midnight here. Haha. We had sober Rockette kicks through the living room, just Lara, one of her sisters, and I. Moses ran out horrified every chance he had, and Maddie was doubled over laughing at all of us. We had an impromptu dance fest, including such timeless classics as the “Roger Rabbit,” the running man, the cabbage patch, and the Charlie Brown dance. I threw in what I thought may have been a New Kids on the Block dance, but looking at the steps I could have been resurrecting Vanilla Ice. I’m not sure.

Here’s to health, happiness, and serenity for 2014. This is our year, all of us. Make of it every dream come true!

Blessings to you all…

And, as a special treat, here’s Auld Lang Syne with LYRICS! Not that those help you know what he’s saying, but better than nothing 😉
