One of my Christmas gifts this year was the FitBit Force. I’ll be writing a product review of it tomorrow. I’ve been wearing it daily since December 26th, and enjoying it immensely.
Today the kiddos and I took it for a spin on a hike up to a mountain Cross. The last time we attempted this hike, I hadn’t recovered enough from chemo yet, and we had to call it 1/4 of the way up.
We made it to the top.
Moses chose to celebrate that fact by shouting, “I’m alive!!!” at the top of the mountain, scaring small children who were hiking with their parents.
I’m relatively certain we broke a trespassing law on the hike out, but whether the road we picked up was private property or not is up for debate. To translate: Maddie insists that I was overreacting to a sign at the very end of the road, I insist that we came about it backwards and missed the “no trespassing” signs.
All in all, it was a beautiful Saturday.
Tomorrow, Lara has a day off and we’re taking a gentle hike together. At the end of it, I’ll post my review of my new FitBit. 🙂
I hope you’re all having a beautiful Saturday! Blessings!
