Omaha!

I guess you can all tell I’m a Denver Broncos fan! It’s a Sunday funday for sure when your team makes it to the Superbowl. I may have social media silence during the actual game, mind you, because so many of my loved ones are living in Seattle, and I don’t want to get crazy. Happily enough, my brother-in-law (who’s a HUGE 49ers fan) was glad we don’t have to be dire enemies for the Superbowl. 🙂

I made up for my sleep deprivation with a wonderful sleep binge last night. I think it’s safe to say that my children and my Lara are much happier with who I am as a person when I’m in my right mind.

One thing that hasn’t changed since chemo ended is the absolutely vivid, real quality of my dreams. Most of the time, it’s wonderful. I can see every flake of snow falling in dreams, feel the grass beneath my bare feet, and so on. When I’m having nightmares, the boogeyman is live and in living color. Yikes.

Tomorrow is the day we remember Dr. King, and we are going into it at 80 plus degrees. Just 5 years ago, we had a deep freeze over this very same weekend, and the pipes blew at the school where I was teaching. Kind of a shock to see how hot it is now.

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Sunday! Blessings and love and light to you all…
