I really wanted to be able to say that. Can’t you tell by my pithy “Ha!” thrown in at the end?
Today is the kind of day that makes me so grateful to live in this climate. For my relatives in Canada (and one in South Korea), I’m not saying this to brag. It’s just that we suffer through intense heat for about four months each year, and I can never remember why I tolerate it while I’m in the middle of it.
We took the kiddos and the fat dog to the park. We had planned a hike, but opted for the easy route. It was a perfect day.
I, of course, woke up WAY too early again. I am about to brew some tea and make some toast with honey here, in order to make sure that doesn’t happen two mornings in a row.
