I’ve made it past 9:00 p.m. I consider this a real grown up time, so if I go to bed immediately – it’s no harm, no foul. I think I may have been ready to sleep right after dinner. I have this salad I order whenever my Mom and I go to Yardhouse – I think it’s called an ahi crunchy salad. Tonight, I seared Ahi and made one for all of us. Dinner was a huge success. 🙂
My philosophical thoughts are all geared towards sleep right now, so I thought I would share the words of some greater minds on the subject.
“Sleep is the best meditation.” ~ the Dalai Lama
“One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” ~ Virginia Woolf (see the Ahi salad above. Ha!)
“People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.” ~ George Orwell
“The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.” ~ Robert Frost
“Oh, sleep it is a blessed thing, beloved from pole to pole…” ~ Samuel Taylor Coleridge
Safe and peaceful sleep to you all, blessings…never give up!
I am happy to read it. Have a beautiful day 🙂
