In some anyplace ~
my heart sleeps
with views of drifting snow
and the snowflakes’ slow fall
covering the trees in silence
to celebrate the winter
In some anyplace ~
a siren calls me
back to a watery home
as my evolution
moves back in time
In some anyplace ~
my language is born
a first thought
pushing a first word
into couplet
and stanza
and song
Until
in some anyplace
I speak home
into being…
So profound! You are a wonderful writer. I love this poem.
