Friday Philosophy…Organizing!

It has been yet another hectic week, and I am nestling into the weekend and Friday evening by organizing and rearranging. I know this doesn’t sound very “weekend” to most of you, but I find it comforting. I had redone our office about a month ago, and then Pinterest made over some of our closet space with my sis. 🙂

Now I’m on a streak. I love a more old-fashioned/cottage look around the house, but I see no reason that all can’t be ruthlessly organized and streamlined. So, you can call clearly see that I am loving Pinterest and watching too much HGTV. 🙂

So I wondered: what have well-quoted people said about organization?

“The secret of victory lies in the organization of the non-obvious.” ~ Marcus Aurelius (See, the victory may be in my newly organized scarves.)

“It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him.” ~ J.R.R. Tolkien

“Without leaps of imagination or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.” ~ Gloria Steinem

“Close the door, change the record, clean the house, get rid of the dust. Stop being who you were and become who you are.” ~ Paulo Coehlo

Blessings to you all, and never give up!
