For those of you who do not know this, my partner, “Lara Croft the Tumour Raider” (haha) is Greek. Every month, on the very first day of the month, she and her entire family wish everyone “Kalo Mina.” Translated into English, this means “good month.” Or, maybe I’m mistranslating, and it should be the entire phrase “have a good month.” I don’t know, I speak French, not Greek.
Last month, on the 1st, I published my poetry collection. To all of you who have read it, I thank you! Today, I published my novel, “Blessings.” It’s scary. For those of you who follow me on Twitter (@bellesmots), I write a small poem – called #micropoetry – daily. There were several days where I wrote about nightmares and creepy, spooky stuff. That was all because I was writing my own supernatural mystery novel, and I was scaring myself.
Lara found it amusing at times, because I would be in the kitchen, just getting a glass of water, in the dark, and she would suddenly hear me sprinting down the hall to get back to a well-lit room. What can I say? I’m a scaredy-cat! 🙂
So, today, I wish you all Kalo Mina! And today, I’m very excited to share the print edition of “Blessings.” It apparently takes approixmately 12 hours to become available on Kindle, so I will share a link to that tomorrow.
If you wish to have an autographed copy, please send me a message with your address, and I can do that for you.
Blessings (not the scary kind) to you all…
