Friday Philosophy…In All Directions

That’s not a crack at that kid band, One Direction.

My mind is moving in many directions today, so I’ve been addressing that by getting my hands dirty and rearranging very heavy objects in the office. Exertion cures a multitude of ills!

I’m thinking of changes, adventures, risks, and the major undertaking I’m beginning next week. I am also trying not to think about it TOO much, because I get massive butterflies in my stomach. Okay, they’re the size of vultures – not butterflies! 🙂

So, today’s quotes don’t follow an exact theme or topic. They are simply food for thought.

“Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones.” ~ Thich Nhat Hanh

“Perfect behavior is born of complete indifference.” ~ Francois de la Rochefoucauld

“To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.” ~ Anatole France

“Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.” ~ Rumi

Blessings to you all, and NEVER GIVE UP!
