I’m still loving everyone’s photos for “throwback Thursday.” One day, I may even post one. 🙂
We have been struck by the 110 degree weather now, so I have been relegated to indoor workouts (and swimming) only. I can’t deny the convenience factor of being able to hop on the treadmill first thing in the morning, but I do miss nature.
My morning micropoetry has been taking place from the safety and comfort of my living room, watching the sunrise through a window. Did I mention that I’m directly below the air-conditioning vent while I’m indoors? Haha.
In the midst of all of this, you may think I’m complaining. Believe me, I’m not. I’m thankful to live in one of the best climates for about 8 months of the year. For 4 months, we need to suck it up.
I’m thankful that summer vacation begins next week.
I am grateful to have the opportunity to go to the best breast cancer specialist ever now!
I’m grateful for the strange new adventures we are embarking upon here. I am not able to share many details yet, but they are thrilling and scary and exciting all at once!
I’m happy that summer vacation starts next week! (No, I have not recently suffered a head injury.)
I’m thrilled that my kiddos want me to train them for distance running (Did I mention that I’m glad we own a treadmill?)
I am BEYOND thrilled at a new book that is percolating for me with a fabulous artist, and honored that she asked me to craft words for her concept. 🙂
I know I share the thankfulness on Thursdays, but I try to take a moment every day to breathe and let myself feel gratitude.

Count your blessings as you go, and I am wishing many more blessings to you all…
