Thankful for Patience

No, I’m not. Not really.

You’d think I would be more accustomed to waiting by this point in time, but I’m not.

Today, I uploaded the sequel to my novel, Blessings. Now, I have to wait for Amazon’s review process to complete. It can take up to 24 hours. Really, that’s practically no time. I’ve only checked my email about a dozen times since I finished submitting it. Ha!

Still, I’m exceptionally grateful to be doing what I do. I’ve finished three quarters of a curriculum project I’ve been hired to complete, and we’re getting ready to work on the last segment. My daughter is taking a BYU online Algebra class and loving it. My little guy is learning introductory computer programming. Lara is absorbing all of these good things right along with me. I managed to swim the butterfly stroke for the first time in years today. It wasn’t pretty, but I did it. Okay, the lifeguard started hovering by my lane while I was making that effort, but still: I did it. 🙂

It’s a good day.

If I had realized fully how wonderful and amazing my life changes would be as I went through Cancer treatment, I don’t think I would have been able to grasp it all.

Happy Thursday, and blessings to you all…
