No, not sudden death overtime. Just the unexpected – and not death in the most literal of terms, either. The sudden death I refer to can be the death of a dream, a friendship, even a point of view you have held close to your heart (see last week’s Cognitive Dissonance post haha).
Basically, this week I have been pondering the way life can just stop or turn on a dime. There are days it seems like you don’t even have time to blink.
“Coffee goes great with sudden death.” ~ Gillian Flynn (since I am drinking my morning coffee, I had to include this here. Lack of coffee could also, arguably, lead to sudden death in my opinion.)
“The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living.” ~ Marcus Tullius Cicero
“Any fool can be happy. It takes a man with real heart to make beauty out of the stuff that makes us weep.” ~ Clive Barker
“If you want your dreams to come true, don’t sleep.” ~ Yiddish Proverb
“There were a lot of them – so many promises washed up like waves on the rocky beach, only to be pulled away just as fast.” ~ Steve Vernon
It’s weird thought Friday over here! 😉 Blessings to you all, and never give up!
