Sunday Reflections…

We had a relatively quiet day today (just the way I like it). We celebrated my “father-in-love” tonight, and his birthday. He has decided, by the way, to pull a Benjamin Button and begin reducing his age by one year annually. I like it.

I am always filled with gratitude for this life I live, and the fact that I am here to live it.

Today, I decided to go with some simple acceptance. Okay, I can only run five miles in one stretch about once per week, on average. As you all know, I loved my daily run before I was sick: five miles every day, rain or shine. I was like a little machine. I can’t manage that yet, and it’s okay. The mild frustration was draining my good energy, so I am going to give myself a pass. I may not be able to do that yet, but I am on a journey, and it’s alright to move back slowly.

In other words, I’m going to enjoy the path to my strength building goals, not just focus solely upon the goal.

Stop and smell the flowers, flex my muscles as they come back, and enjoy…

Goodnight, and blessings to you all…

  1. Heya great blog! Does running a blog similar to this take a great deal of work?
I have no expertise in programming but I had been hoping to start my own blog in the near future.
Anyhow, should you have any ideas or tips for new blog owners please share.

I know this is off topic nevertheless I just needed to ask.
    Kudos!
