Tuesday Thoughts…

I’m hitting the philosophical side of what it means to eat and live and breathe without cancer. It’s all the recipe writing for the book, I tell you. So, today, I am just sharing some thoughts from other people who have experienced cancer.

“Today we fight. Tomorrow we fight. The day after, we fight. And if this disease plans on whipping us, it better bring a lunch, ’cause it’s gonna have a long day doing it.” ~ Jim Beaver

“The goal is to live a full, productive life even with all that ambiguity. No matter what happens, whether the cancer never flares up again or whether you die, the important thing is that the days that you have had you will have lived.” ~ Gilda Radner

“Breast cancer is not just a disease that strikes at women. It strikes at the very heart of who we are as women: how others perceive us, how we perceive ourselves, how we live, work and raise our families – or whether we do these things at all.” ~ Debbie Wasserman Schultz

“When it comes to cancer, Winston Churchill’s famous quote is the perfect mantra: ‘Never, never, never, never give up.” ~ Tom McClain

Next, we will just get back to the body rebuilding and the food. 😉

Blessings to you all…
